"See Yous Again" is a vocal by American country music artist Carrie Underwood. Information technology was written past Underwood, Hillary Lindsey, and David Hodges. "Run into You Again" tells the story of moving onwards after experiencing the death of a loved ane in life. The lyrics provide hope and promise through Underwood's conventionalities that one volition reunite with every fallen loved one in the afterlife. The song'south opening consists of a solo piano, followed by a backing chorus and band boot in soon afterward.
"See You Once more" was originally i of three songs written for the 2010 feature film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Of the three songs that Underwood, Hodges, and Lindsey co-wrote for the picture, the workers behind the project opted to choose "There's a Place For Us." Underwood pushed to include "Come across You Once more" on her fourth studio anthology, Blown Away, during the writing process of the album.

Come across You Once again is written in the central of A-flat major, with a song range from F3 to D ♭ 5.[5]
Critical reception [edit]
The song has received positive reviews from music critics. Billboard.com described the song to be "truly a taste of heaven."[2] Kevin John Coyne of Country Universe included the vocal in his personal favorite tracks from the Blown Away studio album in the website'southward 2012 year-end inaugural of editors' favorite State albums of the year,[vi] as did Matt Bjorke of Roughstock for their anthology inaugural.[7] Liv Carter of Urban Country News gave the song a "thumbs upwardly", adding "what pulls information technology over the line however, and presumably why it has become a fan-favorite, is its sincerity in wishing to bring comfort and Underwood's confident functioning."[8] Jonathan Keefe of Slant Magazine was less favorable, maxim that "the chorus of power carol "Encounter You Again" is marred by dated, campy loonshit-stone clichés."[9]

The song debuted at No. lx on the US Country Airplay nautical chart for the week of April xiii, 2013,[x] and peaked at No. 2 for the nautical chart dated September 7, 2013.[eleven] It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. xc for the nautical chart dated May 18, 2013,[12] and peaked at No. 34 for the chart of August 31, 2013.[xiii] It too peaked at No.seven on the Hot Country Songs chart on Baronial 24, 2013. As of December 2013, the single has sold 740,000 copies in the U.s..[3]
On August x, 2015 "See You lot Once again" was officially certified as Platinum.[4]
Alive Performances [edit]
Underwood performed the vocal in May 2018 during an episode of American Idol in which she mentored the top five contestants.[14] The song was included in the setlist for the Cry Pretty Bout.[xv]

On June 7, 2013, Practiced Morning America gave a first look for the music video for "See Yous Again". The full video premiered before long afterwards on ABCNews.com.[17] The music video was directed by Eric Welch.[18] It showed the aftermaths of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the September eleven attacks and the 2013 Moore, Oklahoma, tornado, along with various reunions.
